Kukicha Green Tea

Kukicha or “Stem Tea“ is a delightfully unique drink made from the stems and twigs of Sencha and Gyokuro. Harvested in the fall before the tea plants go dormant, this tea is sometimes called Winter Tea in Japan because its taste and aroma make for a perfect companion on a chilly morning. Distinct clean, nutty flavors (reminiscent of chestnuts), with malty overtones and a creamy finish. Great choice for those trying to lower their caffeine intake.
